Data Rights and Deletion

How to access, correct, export, restrict, revoke, or delete your Memrov data.

Last updated May 25, 2026

Plain-English summary
  • Deleting your account should delete active Memrov product data, not just hide the account.
  • You can revoke connectors without deleting your account.
  • Deletion keeps a minimal hashed receipt so Memrov can prove completion without keeping your profile.
Requests you can make
  • Access: ask for a copy or explanation of personal information Memrov holds about you.
  • Export: request portable copies of profile facts, connector settings, review decisions, and supported source metadata.
  • Correction: fix inaccurate account details or memory facts.
  • Restriction: hold information away from connectors while preserving it for audit.
  • Deletion: delete your account and associated active product data.
  • Connector revoke: remove a connector's ability to read your approved profile.
  • SMS opt-out: reply STOP to SMS messages or update notification settings.
How to request deletion
  • In the app, open Settings and use Delete account and data.
  • You can also email admin@memrov.com with the subject line Privacy Request.
  • We may verify your identity before completing access, export, correction, or deletion requests.
  • If you created an account in an iOS or Android app, the app must also provide a deletion path that starts inside the app.
What deletion covers
  • Auth-scoped active profile data, review cards, approved connector facts, hidden facts, corrections, imports, raw source prefixes, generated artifacts, connector grants, connector logs, and Safe AI state controlled by Memrov.
  • Where technically available, deletion also removes or disconnects service-provider records created only to operate your Memrov account.
  • The deletion workflow may leave a privacy receipt with a one-way hashed subject, request id, timestamps, and completion status.
What may remain
  • Payment, tax, fraud, dispute, chargeback, legal, and security records where retention is required or legitimate.
  • Backups until they expire through the normal backup lifecycle.
  • Aggregated or de-identified metrics that no longer identify you.
  • Records held by third-party providers where you have a separate account or direct relationship with that provider.
Response timing

We aim to acknowledge privacy requests promptly and complete them within the time required by applicable law. Complex requests, identity verification, fraud review, or third-party dependencies may take longer where allowed.
